Act 3, Question 3

Explain why Romeo chooses to fight Tybalt after all. In your opinion, was he justified in killing Tybalt? Discuss why or why not.

  1. NO. He should not have killed me. That is rude. Tybalt was Juliet's cousin, and he should have known better than to kill one of her relatives because that would make her see him as a bad guy.

  2. I don't think he should have killed Tybalt. There are other ways to end a fight than stabbing your wife's cousin. I don't think it was justified for the same reason. If you want to impress your wife's parents, don't stab their nephew.
